How to Change the Style or Appearance of Text
- To bold – enclose the text with an asterisk *
- To italicize – enclose the text with an underscore _
- To strikethrough – enclose the text with a hypen
How to Share with Only a Few People
Click the “Limited” link to show who can view the post.
How to Change the Size of the Chat Box
Just click the edge or corner and then drag the chat box to make larger or smaller.

Use your scroll wheel. Give it a try…it really does work!
How to Turn OFF Comments on a Specific Post
Rather than “unfriend” or stop following a specific person when encountering a negative or irritating thread, simply click the down arrow beside the post and use the “mute” feature to discontinue follow-up notifications.
How to Create Unique Reader Lists
The +1 Tab is a terrific way to keep track of information you use but take it a step farther by making it public. Use the +1 Tab to select articles and other items of interest to your readers and then to the tab, hit the box labeled “show this tab on my profile” to make public. Now readers can enjoy the same information.
